Choose a piece of technology, software or scientific process that is currently a major topic of discussion. Find at least three articles from mainstream media publications discussing it. Then, write a 2-3 page paper in Times New Roman, font size 12, which you analyze the utopian and dystopian framings within the coverage you found. In doing so, discuss current or longstanding social, political, and historical dynamics that contribute to these interpretations. Explain what you see at stake in this coverage. If most or all commentary lens in a single direction, describe what an alternative view might look like. Also include references to at least two of the following materials that we talked about in class. I will add a list from the syllabus.
