History of Nursing Assignment Instructions (10 points)

Specific Objectives:
· Students will identify significant historical nursing leaders in the United States and worldwide.
· Students will discuss their contribution to the nursing profession.
· Students will discuss the challenges faced as the historical nurse leaders promoted their platform.
· Students will discuss the relevance of their contribution to the delivery of nursing care today.
· Students will compare and contrast the role of the nurse leader to their perceived role.
Instructions: All students will identify a historical nurse leader (pioneer) from their textbook to complete this assignment.
