The Way We Are, chapter one of Burke's The Day the Universe Changed – There is a Video that accompanies Burke's chapter. It's not required and watching it is not enough to prepare for the quiz, but it's a very helpful clarification of the content of the chapter. This article is required. There is a video embedded in the articles, so be sure to watch it. It picks up where Burke leaves off. The Ionians thought differently. Do we? According to Burke, the Greeks introduced something new into the world because they needed new technologies to solve problems. Does our technology serve the same purpose and has our world view changed too? What about the relationship among different points of view that we have in society today?
