Students are required to use at least 2 sources of information per submission. Sources may be from books or journal articles. Professional websites, such as APA, NIH, etc. may also be used with appropriate citation.
Responses will be no less than one page in length and must be written in American Psychological Association (APA) publication format. A reference list must be included.
Intrinsic and Extrinsic Motivation –
there are both benefits and drawbacks associated with both intrinsic and extrinsic motivators. Acknowledging this:
1.Do you think our educational system is reducing the intrinsic motivation to learn and replacing it with extrinsic motivation? Explain.
2.Do we need to change how instructors motivate their students to succeed in the classroom? Explain.
3.What strategies could instructors employ to increase intrinsic motivation of their students? And is this necessary?
