Paper format: APA STYLE
- Title Page and Reference pages are required;
- Papers must be typed and submitted through Canvas;
- Papers are to be double-spaced with 1-inch margins on the top, bottom, and both sides; Papers must be numbered (i.e. page 1, 2, 3, etc.);
- Running heads and headers must be formatted by the APA style guide.
- Do not re-write the questions in your paper, state questions for example: The goals of the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) are legal because- —- ———- ————.
- You must have at least five references (see assignment details above for reference requirements).
All direct information from reading sources must have quotations or citations that identify where you obtained your information; IT IS IMPROPER TO TRANSFER INFORMATION DIRECTLY FROM ANOTHER SOURCE INTO YOUR PAPER WITHOUT IDENTIFYING WHERE YOU OBTAINED YOUR INFORMATION. This can be considered plagiarism.
SPELLING AND GRAMMAR ERRORS SHOULD BE ADDRESSED BEFORE TURNING IN YOUR PAPER. MAKE SURE THAT YOU AND/OR SOMEONE ELSE PROOFREAD YOUR PAPER TO MAKE ANY CORRECTIONS NECESSARY BEFORE TURNING IN YOUR PAPER. Your Assigned Partner would be a good example of someone to proofread your paper before turning it in.
