Students will complete a 5-7 page research paper related on the following topic. Based on your experience as a consumer of health services, your Jefferson University undergraduate courses, your previous work/volunteer experience, if any, and current work in the field of healthcare, (if applicable) please review the landscape of US Health Services and its major objective. Critique/assess the current status of the US Health Care Delivery System then determine in general what is working well and also what is not working well and state why.
Elaborate upon your framework with references. Then recommend one solution that would enhance the delivery of care and allow services to be accessible to more individuals and improve the health of the community and enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Incorporate critical thinking and creativity in this project.
The Health Management Assessment project enables students to demonstrate the ability to integrate theory and practice by conducting a literature review and proposing a solution to a real problem in a professional setting.
